DAY 01: KUALA LUMPUR > KATHMANDU (L/D) |
Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport. Meet by our Local Representative and transfer to Local Restaurant for Lunch.
Sightseeing of Patan Durbar Square (World Heritage UNESCO), is situated at the centre of Lalitpur City. Other places of
attractions to visit are Krishna Temple and Golden Temple. Dinner and overnight in Nagarkot hotel.
DAY 02: KATHMANDU > PARO > 1HOUR FLIGHT > THIMPU > (B/L/D) |
After Breakfast, depart to International Airport to board Druk Air, Bhutan's National Airline to Paro. The flight to Paro offers
fascinating views of the eastern Himalayan range, including Mt. Everest. On arrival in Paro you will be received by our local
representative. Drive 55 km distance to Thimpu capital city of Bhutan, which takes 1 hour and 30 mintues. Visit Tashichho Dzong Buddhist monastery, the head of Bhutan’s civil government office combine with the kingship. Since the creation of the
monarchy in 1907. Opposite is the Parliament House of Tashichho Dzong, located. Check in Hotel Thimphu for Lunch, Dinner
and overnight stay.
DAY 03: THIMPU > DRIVE 70KM > PUNAKHA (B/L/D) |
After Breakfast, tour visit to National Memorial Chorten, a monument to the world peace and prosperity. Visit Kuensel Phodrang
(Buddha Point) the sitting Buddha statue – 169 feet high and situated on top of a hill overlooking city of Thimpu. Motithang Takin Preserve (MINI Zoo) wildlife reserve area for takin, National Animal of Bhutan. Visit the Traditional Handmade Paper Factory, paper products are made from a mulberry plant bark called Daphne. Visit the National Post Office, drive to Punakha, which take 2hours and 30 mintues. Stop at Do Chula pass (3050m) for tea and coffee and enjoy the most spectacular view over the high peak of eastern Himalayas. Drive to Wangduephodrang , visit Chimi Lakhang, auspicious monastery built in 1499. Walk
through the paddy and mustard fields to this temple, which is located on top of a small hill. local restaurant and return to hotel
for overnight stay.
DAY 04: PUNAKHA > Drive 120KM > PARO (B/L/D) |
After breakfast, visit to Punakha Dzong, which lies between two rivers known as Phochu and Mochu, symbolizing the masculine
and the feminine co-existence their currents are of different colours and they unite at this point. Drive to Thimphu for shopping
souvenirs. Drive to Paro for Lunch, Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.
DAY 05: PARO (B/L/D) |
After early breakfast, excursion to Takshang Monastery – Tiger’s Nest, to Takshang Monastery perched giddily on a rocky
ledge,with a waterfall cascading as if from the blue. Afternoon visit Kychu Temple which dates back to the 7th century, Kyichu
temple is one of the last three surviving temples. Visit a Bhutanese farm house to see how Bhutanese farmers live and get a
taste of their hospitality and including a taste of the local rice wine “ara”. Evening cultural show at the hotel with options to
dress up in Bhutanese traditional attire and join the fun and take pictures. Complimentary local whiskey will be served during
the show. Overnight in Paro Hotel.
DAY 06: PARO > KATHMANDU > 1HOUR FLIGHT (B/L/D) |
After Breakfast, transfer to Airport for flight to Kathmandu. Arrival meet by our representative and transfer to Local
Restaurant for Lunch. Sightseeing tour to Kathmandu Durdar Square and Swoyambhunath Stupa, on top of the hill
overlooking Kathmandu Valley. Proceed to Thamel Street for shopping and return to hotel. Tonight enjoy the Nepalese
Dance Cultural Show, with Dinner,(taste the local rice wine “Raksi”), at local restaurant. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 07: KATHMANDU > KUALA LUMPUR (B) |
After Breakfast, Transfer to airport for departure flight with wonderful memories of Nepal.
